About this 10 day journey
Morocco’s cities have very different personalities, and this ten day private tour lets you meet them one by one. It starts in Casablanca with the Hassan II Mosque and the Corniche, travels through the capital Rabat and the port of Tangier, and climbs into the blue streets of Chefchaouen.
From there the road leads through the alpine looking town of Ifrane to the medieval medina of Fez, and then on to Marrakech for a city tour, a free day, and a smooth departure. Throughout, you stay in comfortable three and four star hotels and riads, with a private driver and guide taking care of the details.

Day 1
Arrival in Casablanca
Casablanca
You arrive at Mohammed V International Airport, about thirty minutes from the city. After pickup you visit the Hassan II Mosque and explore the Corniche. If time allows, enjoy a casual evening at a local restaurant.

Day 2
Casablanca to Rabat
After breakfast you drive for an hour to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. You explore the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Udayas with its stunning ocean views. In the evening, take a stroll through the medina of Rabat.

Day 3
Rabat to Tangier
After breakfast you head to Tangier, a busy port city, a drive of about three hours. You visit the Cave of Hercules and Cap Spartel, where the Atlantic meets the Mediterranean, and the Tangier medina, to explore its markets and local life.

Day 4
Tangier to Chefchaouen
After breakfast you depart for Chefchaouen, a drive of about two hours to the blue washed town set in the Rif Mountains. You explore the medina and visit Plaza Uta el Hammam, the main square, the Kasbah Museum, and the nearby Ras el Maa waterfall.

Day 5
Chefchaouen, Ifrane, and Fez
Chefchaouen to Ifrane to Fez
After breakfast you begin the journey to Fez, about five hours including a stop in Ifrane, known for its alpine style architecture and cool climate. Walk through the town and enjoy its parks. Then you continue to Fez, check in to your riad, and have dinner there.

Day 6
The Fez Medina
Fez
A full day guided tour of Fez and its ancient medina. You visit the Bou Inania Madrasa and Al Quaraouiyine University, and the tanneries of Fez for a look at traditional leather craftsmanship. Dinner is at a local restaurant in the medina.

Day 7
Fez to Marrakech
Fez to Ifrane to Marrakech
After breakfast you depart for Marrakech, stopping briefly in Ifrane to explore more of this unique mountain town. The drive takes about seven hours, through the Atlas Mountains. When you arrive in Marrakech, check in and enjoy the evening.

Day 8
Marrakech City Tour
Marrakech
A full day guided tour explores the historical sites of Marrakech, including the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the Koutoubia Mosque. In the afternoon you visit the Menara Gardens and Jemaa el Fna, where entertainers and street food stalls fill the square.

A Free Day in Marrakech
Marrakech
A free day to explore Marrakech on your own. You may visit the Majorelle Garden, experience a traditional hammam spa, shop for souvenirs in the medina, or take a cooking class.

Departure from Marrakech
Marrakech Airport
Your driver transfers you to Marrakech Menara Airport, about twenty minutes away, for your flight home.

Every tour is private, so the price per person depends on how many of you travel together and the accommodation level you choose: Affordable Comfort (3 star hotels and riads), Classic Comfort (4 star riads), Affordable Luxury (4 and 5 star riads) or Deluxe Luxury (5 star riads). Prices are per person for the whole 10 day tour, based on two people sharing a room.

Pickup and drop off
Pickup on Day 1 is from Casablanca airport. Drop off on Day 10 is at Marrakech Menara Airport.
Booking and cancellation
A 50% deposit confirms your booking and the balance is due 60 days before the tour starts. Cancellation refunds are 100% for 30 or more days before departure, 50% for 15 to 29 days, 25% for 7 to 14 days, and none under 7 days.
